Full technical description

The Corsair MP600 PRO NH is a stripped-down iteration of Corsair’s flagship storage tier, using the Phison PS5018-E18 controller architecture. This NVMe 1.4 controller is paired with dedicated DDR4 DRAM for address map caching to help maintain consistent random I/O performance and sustained throughput. The 1000GB variant integrates Micron’s 176-layer 3D TLC (B47R), a configuration tuned to saturate the PCIe 4.0 interface. By omitting factory-installed heatsinks, the drive relies on the host system’s thermal management. NH stands for No Heatsink, indicating this SKU is targeted at users with motherboard-integrated heat spreaders; the Phison E18 controller has high thermal density and can thermally throttle if left entirely bare during sustained writes. The PCB layout and component bill of materials are functionally identical to the Corsair MP600 PRO XT 1000GB, so performance is indistinguishable provided adequate cooling is applied.
